To apply for jobs on CharityVillage, you need to have a CharityVillage account. If you don't have one, don't worry. Just click the Sign Up button located at the top right of our home page and it will only take about a minute or less to create one.

Once you have created your CharityVillage account, click Find a Job at the top of the homepage.
You can search by keyword or postal code by typing into those specific fields, OR you can click the grey box besides Advanced Search for additional search options.
We highly recommend clicking the grey box for Advanced Search. The Advanced Search page allows you to select the radius when searching for jobs by postal code OR search for jobs by region. There are additional categories you can use to help narrow your job search results or just click the green Search button (refer to next screen shot).

Once you've clicked the green Search button, scroll down the page to view the job listing results. Be sure to click on the Job Posting Title to get more information about the position and how to apply for the job.
Most positions will require you to apply via the orange Apply Now button, located at the bottom of a job posting. If it doesn't have an orange "Apply Now" button, the job description will tell you how to apply.
Depending on the job posting an organization chooses to use, you may be required to answer a few questions set by the hiring organization or you will be brought straight to the Required Information page.
It's important to note that the Required Information page is where you can submit a cover letter, reference letter, work sample, or any other document under the Cover Letter & Other Documents section. These documents uploaded in the Cover Letter & Other Documents section are only visible to the organization you are applying to. The only document all organizations you apply to can view at any time, is your resume uploaded in the Resume section.
Remember, your contact information, employment and education history, impact statement, resume and social media link(s) will be viewable by all organizations you've applied to. At any time, this information can be updated by going to your Candidate Profile located in your Account. However, all organizations you apply (both past and present) will see the most up-to-date information on your profile
Once you have finished filling this page out, click Next to submit your application.
Once you've clicked the orange Submit My Application button, the next page will tell you your application has been submitted successfully and to rate the experience. We recommend that you rate the application experience and provide any feedback you may have. This part is completely confidential and the hiring organization will never see this. The feedback is for us so we can make sure the process of applying for jobs through our website is enjoyable.
